I'ts hard to capture the essence and scale of a place like Alaska on camera. It's breadth and perspective are somewhat lost when squashed into two restrictive dimensions.
Throughout the trip, which began in Anchorage, passed through Seward, stretched down to Homer, and then looped back up to Anchorage, it's almost impossible to not drive with one eye on the road and the other hanging out the window.
Alaska is post-card perfect. It's picturesque landscapes are a photographers ideal, with snow capped mountains in the distance of just about every shot.
