Yuri’s last lunchtime photo walk with us today .We took a walk along the southbank to the famous graffiti covered underground, where we were bound to find a skateboarder, or in this case a dude on a scooter…

We took advantage of the peeking sun on Sunday afternoon with a stroll through Richmond park. Instead of the usual deer images we tend to walk away with, we ended up chasing down a green woodpecker (didn’t get a reasonable image) and were hoodwinked by the ever elusive Kestrel.

We went to watch this years Chinese new year in central London. As you can see from some of the images that were taken, the place was swarmed with photographers. It was a great day out and I particularly enjoyed the bright colours and detail of the clothing and displays.

It has been a while since I’ve been out photographing London. With the new year kicking off, getting out during lunch time becomes a challenge. We recently had the opportunity to attend the London Prepares Gymnastics (Rhythm) events. I took my 70-200 2.8 out and managed to take a few snaps of the participants in action.

Haven’t been out much lately, so I’ve combined our recent lunch time walk to Lincoln’s Inn Fields and a trip to Trafalgar Square. Things are also starting to get cold and festive here in London.

Another early morning at Richmond park, this time with Yuri Tang, on the morning the clocks went back , officially marking the end of the British summer time. We were able to catch a few deer but spent the majority of our time capturing the shapes and textures of our surroundings.
